July uprising injured Babu sent to Thailand for treatment

Mohammad Babu, a 36-year-old man who was severely injured in the student-mass uprising that ousted Sheikh Hasina, was sent to Vegthani Hospital in Thailand today (24 November) for better treatment.
A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying Babu left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this morning, reads a health ministry press release.
The Director General (DG) of the Heath Directorate, Prof Dr Md Abu Jafar, saw him off at the airport.
The DG told the media that the government is trying its best to treat the critically injured persons in the July-August mass uprising.
He said more critically injured persons will be sent abroad soon for their further better treatment.
