Lions Club distributes warm clothes, masks in Chattogram
The Clifton Group has donated the items for underprivileged people
Lions Club of Chattogram Mirsharai and Lions Club of Chattogram Khulshi on Friday jointly distributed warm clothes, face masks and T-shirts among underprivileged people in Chattogram amid prevailing Covid-19 situation and biting cold.
The Clifton Group, a ready-made garment company, has donated 10,000 T-shirts to aware people of coronavirus, 10,000 pieces of face masks and 2,000 warm clothes for children, said a press release.
The club distributed those items among the people of Jangle Salimpur Slum area in Sitakunda upazila.

Chinnamul Slum Dwellers Coordination Struggle Association's General Secretary Kazi Moshiur Rahman presided over the function, according to the press release.
Lion District Regional Headquarters-1 and Clifton Group CEO Lion Md M Mohiuddin Chowdhury MJF, District Cabinet Secretary Lion Ashesh Kumar Ukil, Lions Club of Chattogram Mirsharai Director and Zone Chairperson Lion Taher Ahmed and Khulshi Club President Lion Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan spoke on the occasion.
Director of Lions Club of Chattogram Mirsharai Lion AZM Saiful Islam Tutul and leaders of Lions Club and Leo Club were also present.
Lions Club distributed more than 6 lakh masks and 30,000 T-shirts, donated by the Clifton Group, among people since the beginning of coronavirus.
