Newborn recovered from dustbin in Chattogram
Police recovered a newborn boy from a dustbin on Ice Factory Road at Sadarghat area of Chattogram city today morning.
Officer-in-charge of Sadarghat Police Station Fazlur Rahman said, "Being informed by local people, police recovered the baby from the dustbin. He was taken to Memon Maternity Hospital. Then the baby was sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for better treatment."
Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost's Nayek Hamidur Rahman said, "The baby was taken here at around 12.30 pm. The one-day-old boy was admitted to neonatal care unit of the hospital."
