Physician dies of respiratory problem in Ctg
Dr Sadequr was not positive for coronavirus
A physician died of respiratory problem in Chattogram on Sunday.
The deceased Dr Sadequr Rahman was working in Jemison Red Crescent Maternity Hospital.
He breathed his last early in the morning at intensive care unit of Mother and Childcare Hospital, director of the hospital Dr Nurul Haque said.
He said, Dr Sadequr was not positive for coronavirus. But he was suffering from respiratory problems.
Chairman of Jemison Red Crescent Maternity Hospital and vice president of Bangladesh Medical Association Dr Shafiul Azam said, he had been suffering from heart disease for several days.
Dr Sadequr had been on leave for the last one month. He was taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital(CMCH) when he became seriously ill. Sadequr Rahman was taken to Mother and Childcare Hospital as there were no vacant ICU bed at CMCH. He died there.
