Awami League infighting leaves 25 injured in Bogura
Police fired several rounds of blank and rubber bullets to bring the situation under control.
At least 25 people, including four policemen, were injured during a clash between two factions of Awami League in Bogura's Dhunat upazila.
The clash took place in the market area of Dhunat upazila around 12pm on Saturday.
Confirming the incident, Dhunat police station's Sub-inspector Pradeep Kumar said, "We came to the spot after getting the news of the clash between the two groups of the Awami League."
At the time of the clash brickbats were being thrown. Police fired several rounds of blank and rubber bullets to bring the situation under control.
However, the situation is still tense in the upazila. Additional police have been deployed in the area.
