Fourth phase municipality polls
Distributionof AL’s nomination forms starts Tuesday
The Election Commission (EC) on Sunday announced thatthe fourth phase of the municipality polls will be held on February 14, with 56 municipalities holding elections that day.
According to this election schedule, the ruling Awami League is set to start distributing the party nomination forms from Tuesday onwards.
Distribution will continue till 11 January, said a press statement issued on Mondayby Awami League Office Secretary, Barrister Biplab Barua.

The aspirants have been requested to collect and submit the forms from/to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Dhanmondi Political Office between 5 January and 11 January.
When collecting the forms, they must bring photocopies of their respective national identity cards, the press statement read.
