The Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir today (31 January) brought out a mass procession across the country, including Dhaka, after the Jummah prayer demanding the prosecution of those involved in the July uprising killings and seditious activities of the ousted Awami League, including enforced disappearances and corruption.
In Dhaka, the procession started from the north gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque and ended at the Shahbagh intersection via Paltan, National Press Club and Matsya Bhaban.
The central leaders of Shibir were present at the procession. During this time, the leaders and activists were heard chanting various slogans demanding the trial of Sheikh Hasina.
