Two leaders of Jubo League and Chhatra League were arrested from the city's Kalabagan and Badda area on Tuesday night (1 October) on charges of attacking people during the anti-discrimination student movement.

Police arrested Jubo League presidium member Md Anwarul Islam from Kalabagan while RAB captured Feni Pouro Chhatra League General Secretary Osman Gani from the Badda area of the capital.

Anwarul was arrested in connection with a case filed with Kalabagan Police Station on 6 September.
