Scattered rain with gusty winds likely in four divisions
The areas likely to be affected include one or two places in Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Dhaka divisions, as well as Cumilla and Noakhali
Scattered Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions and the regions of Noakhali and Cumilla today (16 March).
The met office said in its 24-hourly weather forecast starting from 6pm also said one or two places over Dhaka and Khulna divisions may witness rain or thunder showers from this evening.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded at 12mm in Netrokona, while 7mm and 3mm light rain in Satkhira and Dinajpur respectively.

In capital Dhaka, light rain occurred in some places this evening.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies elsewhere over the country, according to the weather forecast.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Chattogram, Rangamati and Cox's Bazar and it may continue. Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar and the lowest at 15.5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
