City Bank signs agreement with World Vision Bangladesh
The agreement will improve financial inclusion through decentralized banking service to help the country to attain its sustainable development goals
City Bank has signed an agreement with World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) to facilitate the access to banking service for the financially disadvantaged people.
City Bank's Managing Director & CEO Mashrur Arefin, and World Vision Bangladesh's National Director Suresh Bartlett signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, said a press release.
Initially, a bilateral agreement has been signed to reach banking service through agent banking in Satkhira and Khulna.
The agreement will improve financial inclusion through decentralized banking service to help the country to attain its sustainable development goals.
The bank's Head of Digital Financial Servises Md Zafrul Hasan, Head of Small Business Kamrul Mehedi, and Chief of Party – Nobo Jatra Project Rakesh Katal, Deputy Chief of Party – Nobo Jatra Project Alex Bekunda were also present at the ceremony among others.
