E-commerce platform Salextra launched in Bangladesh

Salextra, an online shopping platform for mobile and consumer electronics in Bangladesh, started its operations on 5 January, 2021.
Salextra's Co-Founder and CEO Chowdhury Fahriyar, Senior Manager Shubhasish Roy, plus Head of Products and Services Saiful Islam were present at its launch ceremony, read a press release issued on Tuesday.
Salextra is the latest addition to the e-commerce industry that offers a nationwide online shopping experience with a broad product offering including: consumer electronics, smartphones and feature phones, gadgets to IoT Devices, and household smart solutions.
Speaking at the launch, Chowdhury Fahriyar said, "Nowadays, online customers face diffferent problems when they purchase products online. We will focus on solving these problems – such as over pricing, delivery delay and non-responsive customer service – which disappoint and discourage customers from online shopping.
"Our main focus is to create an e-commerce ecosystem in a proper way that empowers customers and enables brands to reach customers' doorsteps," he added.
Salextra shop completed its opening campaign named "Get Extra" where customers participated in "Smartphones at BDT 50" and "Featurephone at BDT 16." Winners' names were announced during the launch event.
