Summit Technopolis hands over ready plot to Oryx Bio-tech
Summit Technopolis handed over the possession of 25 acres of land to Oryx Bio-tech for setting up a plasma fractionation plant.
A tripartite agreement was signed six months ago to set up the country's first biotechnology plant in Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City, Gazipur, according to a press release.
Prior to the handover, Summit Technopolis has completed extensive land improvement with additional Tk5.14 crore investment to meet the critical requirements for the plant.
This biotech investment in Bangladesh with a valuation of $300 million will be built at the Block II of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City.
Director of BHTPA ANM Shafiqul Islam, Deputy Director of BHTPA Md Mahfuzul Kabir and other senior officials were present at the handover ceremony at the ICT Tower in Agargaon.
