Zaber & Zubair and Hoorain High Tech Fabrics from Bangladesh participated in Le Showroom, the first fashion, touch & feel sourcing event in Paris in 2021.
The companies sent their physical samples to Paris where it was on display. Buyers visited the products and after that they were able to live chat with manufacturers in Bangladesh and further more they can send their inquiries. They will also be on display on the virtual showroom for 6 months after the show.
This unique event was accessible by invitation and upon reservation to allow a visit within the best (sanitary) conditions. Other countries participated in Le Showroom include India, Korea, Turkey, China and Italy.
This one-of-a-kind innovative event took place from 1-5 February, in the heart of Paris, at an exclusive venue: the Atelier Richelieu.
CMO of Hoorain High Tech Fabrics, Hakim shared his thoughts about the fair and said, "It's great step considering current situation! In fact it's needed to have such kind of event as to be connected as keep business ongoing. We are strongly recommending Messe Frankfurt to allow vendor to send 100 fabrics (at least) considering season & trend, so that buyers can cover all the segments. However, we are thankful to Messe Frankfurt as they have us the scope to attend the fair. Wishing more success for Messe Frankfurt."
Anol, the representative of Zaber & Zubair said," We are satisfied with especially in terms of building new business connections through Texworld, Paris February 2021 physical fair. We have received a very positive feedback from many new fashion brands basically based on France."
The Texworld/ Apparel Sourcing Paris 2021 showed new innovative ideas to the world. Texworld Paris normally brings together, twice a year in Paris, around 1500 exhibitors from the fashion industry however with Covid-19 and travel restrictions Messe Frankfurt France came up with innovative alternative solutions for the fashion industry. A way for buyers to physically feel the samples while then interacting over video with the manufactures.
