All of them died in different hospitals across the country

Bangladesh recorded 27 more deaths from the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours till Wednesday 8:00 am. During the period, 1,632 people were tested positive for Covid-19, raising the total cases to 495,841.
The country's death toll from the virus now stands at 7,156, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest day's infection rate was 9.59% of the total tests, though the overall rate in the country till date was 16.40%. The death rate stands at 1.44%.
During the same period, 1,632 patients were declared coronavirus- free, raising the total number of recoveries to 495,841 with an 86.59% recovery rate.
Among the latest day's victims, 23 were men and four were women. All the deceased died in different hospitals across the country.
Of the deceased, 19 hailed from Dhaka, five from Chattogram, one from Rajshahi and two from Rangpur division.
In the meanwhile, 17,025 samples were tested in 140 labs across the country. A total of 3,022,537 samples have been tested in the country so far.
The gender breakdown of Covid-19 victim's shows that 5,462 of the total deceased are men and 1,694 are women.
The country's first Covid-19 case was reported on 8 March this year, and the first death from the virus was reported on 18 March.
