Extra security has been ensured in the jail after the guard contracted the virus

A prison guard at Chattogram Central Jail has tested positive for Covid-19.
He had already been hospitalised with symptoms before his test result came on Tuesday night.
"One of our colleagues has been diagnosed with coronavirus," a deputy from Chattogram Central Jail told The Business Standard. He has been shifted from Chattogram Medical College Hospital to General Hospital.

Extra security has been ensured in the jail after the guard contracted the virus. Various measures have also been taken to keep the jail free of coronavirus.
The jail has a capacity to house 1,753 prisoners but at present, there are more than 5,000 prisoners in it.
