Pakistan halts flights to China for three weeks
China has also imposed a temporary travel ban on Pakistani passengers
The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has halted flights to China in the wake of the second wave of coronavirus in China.
According to local media sources, China has also imposed a temporary travel ban on Pakistani passengers, The News reported.
PIA operates two weekly flights to China.
The flights were cancelled after 10 Pakistani passengers tested positive for Covid-19, a PIA spokesman confirmed the suspension of the flights.
Pakistan has so far conducted 7,326,431 coronavirus tests and 42,422 in the last 24 hours. 472,099 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,334 patients are in critical condition.
