Brac Bank to expand employee banking services beyond cities
Brac Bank and RDRS Bangladesh signed an Employee Banking Agreement on Sunday
Employees of RDRS Bangladesh, a multi-sectoral development agency, will now enjoy exclusive 'employee banking services' of Brac Bank Limited.
In this regard, the Brac Bank signed an Employee Banking Agreement, entering into a partnership with RDRS Bangladesh on Sunday, said a press release.
RDRS Bangladesh was established in 1972 and provides development support to over two million people in more than 22 districts.
The employees of RDRS Bangladesh in Rangpur, Sylhet, Naogaon, Jashore, and Dhaka will avail salary disbursement and all retail loan facilities, including credit card, home loan, auto loan and personal loan from Brac Bank.
Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, the deputy managing director and CRO at Brac Bank, exchanged the agreement with Mohammad Enamul Kabir, the executive director at the RDRS Bangladesh, at a ceremony in Dhaka. Senior officials from both organizations were present at the event.
"Our Employee Banking services are more than just disbursing salaries to the corporate executives; it offers an all-in-one banking platform to them as well," said Chowdhury Akhtar Asif.
"RDRS agreement comes as the beginning to expand our Employee Banking Service beyond metropolitan cities," he added.
