Fresh Annona sanitary napkin signs Bidya Sinha Mim as brand ambassador
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of Bangladesh's leading conglomerates, introduced Fresh Annona Sanitary Napkin to the health and hygiene category in 2023.
Since its launch, the brand has emerged as a trusted name in menstrual hygiene, standing out for its superior quality and its mission to break the stigmas surrounding menstruation. With Bangladesh's first-ever double-layer protection featuring ADL and Airlaid Paper (2X protection), Fresh Annona has gained rapid acceptance among women nationwide.
Building on this success, Fresh Annona Sanitary Napkin has partnered with celebrated actress and model Bidya Sinha Mim as its brand ambassador. The official signing ceremony occurred at the MGI Head Office, Fresh Villa, in Dhaka on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. MGI Director Barrister Tasnim Mostafa signed the agreement on behalf of the company alongside senior officials, including MGI Senior GM (Brand) Kazi Md. Mohiuddin and GM (Sales) Md. Yeasin Mollah.
Speaking at the event, Barrister Tasnim Mostafa remarked, "We are thrilled to welcome Mim on this exciting journey with Fresh Annona Sanitary Napkin. Her elegance and authenticity resonate with women across Bangladesh. Together, we aim to promote awareness of menstrual hygiene, challenge societal taboos, and empower women to fearlessly embrace their potential." As a brand, Fresh Annona is committed to being more than just a producer of affordable, superior-quality sanitary napkins. It strives to empower women at every level—through greater access to essential products, menstrual hygiene education, and initiatives to dismantle the stigmas that hinder women's progress.
Fresh Annona is a brand with meaning—a beacon of change, awareness, and empowerment.
As part of her new role, Bidya Sinha Mim will be prominently featured in upcoming campaigns and communications for Fresh Annona Sanitary Napkin. Together, the partnership aims to create a positive and lasting impact on women's health and well-being across Bangladesh.
