International Plastic Fair kicks off with grand opening ceremony
The 17th Bangladesh International Plastics Fair 2025 has started today.
The exposition is jointly organised by Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd. It occurs at Bashundhara International Convention City (ICCB), Dhaka. The Honourable Advisor to the Commerce Ministry, Mr SK Bashir Uddin, inaugurated the fair today, February 12 2025, at noon.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, was the special guest at the meeting. Also present were Mr. Md. Jasim Uddin, President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman, Administrator of FBCCI, and Mr. Akai Lin, Overseas Director of Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company Limited. BPGMEA President Mr Samim Ahmed presided over the event and delivered the keynote speech.

IPF is now one of the most significant events in Southeast Asian countries. With over 800 stalls from 18 countries and over 390 top brands, IPF 2025 will be the largest event of its kind in Bangladesh. Visitors will find everything from plastic processing to high-tech printing, packaging solutions, raw materials, and quality testing equipment here. The fair will be open to visitors from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
