Prime Bank collaborates with Footstep Bangladesh for community development
Prime Bank PLC, a leading financial institution com has recently signed an agreement with Footstep Bangladesh to install water filtration systems in schools and solar panels in fishermen's homes.
Under this agreement, Prime Bank will install water filtration systems in eight government public schools in Chattogram and solar panels in 100 households in a fishermen's village in Cox's Bazar as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Md Ziaur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer of Prime Bank, and Shah Meem Rafayat Chowdhury, President of Footstep Bangladesh, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Other senior officials from both organisations were also present during the signing ceremony held at Prime Bank's head office.
Md Ziaur Rahman said, "The bank is deeply committed to enhancing the well-being of underprivileged communities by ensuring their access to safe drinking water and renewable energy. Through its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the bank strives to promote sustainable development and support those in need, particularly in areas where these basic resources are scarce."
