LankaBangla tops 2020 brokers’ list, Islami Bank Securities is top stock dealer
Standfirst: UCB Capital and IDLC Securities stood second and third on the brokers’ list, respectively
LankaBangla Securities has maintained its position as the most popular stockbroker in 2020 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
The premier bourse published its year-end list of the top 20 brokers – in terms of turnover contribution – along with the list of most active stock dealers.
UCB Capital stood second on the list of most successful stockbrokers while IDLC Securities secured the third spot.

Brac EPL Stock Brokerage was in fourth position while ICB Securities Trading Company was in fifth, United Financial Trading Company in sixth, City Brokerage in seventh, Sheltech Brokerage in eighth, EBL Securities in ninth, and United Securities in tenth.
Bank Asia Securities, MTB Securities, AB Securities, Shanta Securities, Beximco Securities, AIBL Capital Market Services, Premier Bank Securities, Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities, IIDFC Securities, and BD Sunlife Securities were in eleventh to twentieth position, respectively.
Stockbrokers execute the buy-sale orders of their clients while stock dealers buy and sell shares in bulk from their own dealer accounts.
Islami Bank Securities again became the most active stock dealer at the DSE for 2020, while IFIC Securities and AB Securities were named the second and third largest stock dealers, respectively.
United Securities, IDLC Securities, MTB Securities, Prime Bank Securities, Padma Bank Securities, and Doha Securities were among the top ten dealers.
Sheltech Brokerage, NRBC Bank Securities, SAR Securities, Vertex Stock and Securities, Pubali Bank Securities, ICB Securities Trading Company, Shanta Securities, Vision Capital Management, DLIC Securities, Square Securities, and Dhaka Bank Securities were the eleventh to twentieth spots, respectively.
