The greatest achievement of renowned actor ATM Shamsuzzaman was people's love. He was known to all the countrymen.
Screenwriter Salauddin Lavlu came up with the remark while reminiscing the colorful career of the Ekushey Padak winning actor.
ATM Shamsuzzaman died on Saturday morning while receiving treatment at a private hospital in the capital.

"I think the biggest achievement for an actor is that people all over the country know and love him. ATM Bhai got it in his lifetime. I think it was the best achievement of his life," Lavlu said.
He also recalled the memories of producing his first cinema – Molla Barir Bou - that was scripted by ATM Shamsuzzaman.
The film drew a massive appreciation from all sides.
