Lord of the Rings, Cowboy Bebop and Power Rangers production begins in New Zealand
“Avatar” sequel and “The Power of the Dog,” crew members are already in the country.
Production team of Amazon Prime Video's television adaptation "The Lord of the Rings" and Netflix's upcoming live action of Japanese anime 'Cowboy Bebop' were granted permission to resume shooting, along with five other projects.
In addition to the long-awaited "Avatar" sequel and Jane Campion's film "The Power of the Dog," whose crews had already been allowed in the country. The staffs of the television series The Lord of the Rings, Cowboy Bepop, Power Rangers Beast Morphers, The Greatest Beer Run Ever and Sweet Tooth are beginning to arrive in New Zealand reported by Variety.
A total of 206 cast and crew members and 35 of their family members will be allowed entrance into the country over the course of six months.
