Mumbai Police says Sushant Singh googled about ‘painless death’ before suicide
The actor was reportedly “upset” about being linked with the celebrity manager, Disha Salian.
Mumbai Police Commissioner, Param Bir Singh issued a formal statement to the media stating that the actor had searched 'painless death' using Google.
The police had ruled out reports of rumoured party at the actor's house the night before his demise. They have said they have 'not spared anyone' and have recorded about 56 statements till date, reported by Times of India.
The police also retrieved the actor's laptop and phone only to found message to his lawyer asking 'Who is Disha Salian, please find out.' The actor was reportedly "upset" about being linked to the celebrity manager.
Disha Salian, the celebrity manager also died of an abrupt suicide on June 9.
The Mumbai Police have also investigated the alleged 'missing' funds amounting to 13-14 crores, and state that the money has been "accounted for". Although the police have not yet found evidence of money being transferred to Rhea Chakraborty's account, they are still investigating for 'any other link' in the funds.
