Call 999 if overcharged for salt
The Police Headquarters on Tuesday advised customers to call 999 if anyone overcharges them for salt.
A certain quarter is trying to spread rumour among people about an alleged price hike of salt, said the press release.
The police requested people not to pay any heed to the rumour. If any traders demand extra price, then call the local police station or the national emergency service 999, the police said.

Meanwhile, Dhaka Metropolitan Police(DMP) are conducting mobile court in the capital against price hike of salt. DMP headquarters already has alerted to all police station for covering the Matter.
Police have arrested several businessmen who were selling salt to extra price.
Sheikh Nazmul Alam. additional commissioner of DMP told to the reports that, we have started mobile court against price hike of salt. police are trying to arrest who are spreading rumor.
He also said, police are trying to alert people by miking in local police station area.
