Martyred Intellectuals day observed at SAU
Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) observed Shahid Intellectuals Day with due respect.
The day's programme began with the Vice-Chancellor of SAU, Professor Dr Abdul Latif, hoisting the national flag at 7:30 AM on Saturday, December 14th.
Following this, at 7:35 AM, Hafiz Maulana Mufti Mohammad Abdul Awal, the senior Imam of SAU's central Jame Mosque, led a special prayer seeking forgiveness for the souls of the martyred intellectuals.

At 8:30 AM, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Md. Abdul Latif paid floral tributes at the Shahid Intellectuals Memorial in Mirpur. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Belal Hossain, Treasurer, Professor Mohammad Abul Bashar, Director of Student Counselling and Guidance, Professor Dr Md. Ashab Uddin Haque, Proctor, Professor Dr Md. Arfan Ali, Provost of Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall, Professor Dr Mahbub Islam, Provost of Sher-e-Bangla Hall, Professor Abdul Latif, Registrar Sheikh Rezaual Karim, and other teachers, officers, and staff were present.
