Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited holds 26th AGM
Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) held its 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 28 December 2024 via a digital platform. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BCBL.
The meeting was attended by Board Members Mr. Md. Mohashin Miah, Mr. Kamrul Hoque Maruf, Mr. Md. Golam Mortuza, and Mr. Shaikh Ashafuzzaman FCA. Acting Managing Director and CEO Mr. Mohammad Ziaul Karim, along with Mr. Md. Omar Faruk Bhuiyan, Company Secretary of BCBL, and various divisional heads, were also present.
During the AGM, the audits of the bank for the year ending on 31 December 2023 were presented and approved. The meeting also approved the Directors' and Auditors' reports, the financial statement as of 31 December 2023, and the appointment and remuneration of auditors for the year 2024.

A significant number of shareholders actively participated in the meeting. Various business topics and action plans for the upcoming year were discussed.
In his address, the Acting Managing Director expressed gratitude and best wishes to the shareholders and other attendees. The Chairman concluded the AGM with an announcement of its completion.
