4th Haji Muhammad Mohsin Memorial Debate Competition Concludes
'4th Haji Muhammad Mohsin Memorial Inter-Club National Debate Competition 2024' concluded with a grand ceremony at Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, Dhaka University.
The event saw participation from 32 university debate clubs, culminating in a final face-off between Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Debating Club and Fazlul Haq Muslim Hall.
Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Debating Club emerged victorious, with Umm-e-Suhala receiving accolades as the best debater. The debate addressed the topic: "This House supports the conciliatory approach towards the fallen ruling party and its allies post-July Revolution."

Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan, Adviser on Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, graced the event as the chief guest, distributing prizes to the winners. The ceremony was led by Mehedi Hasan, President of Mohsin Hall Debating Club, with Professor Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury as the keynote speaker.
Other dignitaries, including Professor Dr. Mohammad Nazmul Hasan, Mahir Ali Khan Ratul, and Arpita Goldar, shared insights on the role of debating in shaping informed, logical, and disciplined individuals. The event highlighted debating as a vital tool for fostering public discourse and intellectual growth.
