Joules Power Ltd MD Nuher Latif Khan passes away
Nuher Latif Khan, managing director of Joules Power Ltd, has passed away.
He passed away due to severe heart attack early in the morning today (14 January), reads a press release.
He was the founder and managing director of Desh Energy Ltd. Under his dynamic leadership, the company successfully built a portfolio of 110MW, comprising of liquid fuel and gas based power plants.

After leaving his role with Desh Energy Ltd. in 2013, Nuher Latif Khan shifted his focus to renewable energy and founded Joules Power Limited (JPL). As the managing director of JPL, Nuher Latif Khan successfully implemented Bangladesh's first 20MW AC utility-scale, national grid-tied solar power plant at Teknaf.
He also developed 20MW AC another grid tied solar project at Muktagacha and some other rooftop OPEX portfolio.
