We have completed five years in existence. The journey of the sixth year begins on a completely new note. With the unprecedented 5 August student-people's uprising that has seen the loss of so many young lives, the country gets a new lease of life to be truly free where pluralism should reign supreme, where the media should be free to write, where the buzzword should be Freedom.
After years of mismanagement, corruption and lack of governance, the economy is in tatters. And so are the institutions. We now need a completely new approach to nation building.
But for a new beginning, the old system that sustained an authoritarian regime for so long must change. This calls for sweeping reforms.
