One person mob lynched in Faridpur while trying to rob houses
A person named Md Miran Khan, 34, of North Sadipur area of Faridpur Sadar Upazila died in a mob lynching while trying to rob multiple houses in the area.
Faridpur Kotwali police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Asaduzzaman said the deceased youth Miran Khan is a resident of Purba Sadipur bridge area of Aliabad Union. There are several cases against him, including extortion. "We have initially learned that he was killed in a mob lynching," he added.
Police and locals said that Miran along with few others vandalised and hacked people in an attempt to enter multiple houses in village Gadadhar Dangi of Aliabad Union of Sadar Upazila around 12:30am today. Locals detained the youth and beat him up.

Later, he was taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital in an injured condition, where he died. Police recovered his body this morning after receiving information.
It was initially reported that a rifle, a pistol and a local sharp weapon were recovered from the scene.
OC Md Asaduzzaman said that the police are investigating the matter and will take action according to the law.
