Police arrested Baharchhara UP Chairman Amjad Hossain Khokon in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar.
Amjad, also a Jubo League leader, was arrested from his residence in Shamlapur at 7:30pm today (4 February), said Teknaf Police Station's Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Gias Uddin.
The police official said Amjad is accused in a case filed by Jubodal leader Rafiq in connection with an attack on the July uprising student movement.
