Two killed in Gazipur ‘gunfight’ with RAB
A foreign-made pistol, a one-shooter gun and ammunitions were recovered from the spot
Two alleged miscreants were reportedly killed in a gunfight with the members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Gazipur on Sunday night.
"A RAB member was also injured in the incident," said Lt Commander Abdullah Al-Mamun, company commander of Gazipur Porabari Camp of RAB-1.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

A team of the elite force conducted a drive in 4 No Gate area in National Park under Gazipur City Corporation after receiving information that a group of miscreants had taken position there for committing robbery on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway.
Sensing the presence of the law enforcers, they opened fire on the RAB team, who then fired back in self-defence.
The bodies of the deceased were sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
