Beef recipes for Eid
Here are some easy beef recipes to try at home this Eid-
Beef chilli dry with eggs
Ingredients:
- ½ kg beef (undercut cut into strips)
- 4 cups of water
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup oil
- 2 small onion
- 2-3 green chilli
- 1 tbsp garlic (chopped)
- 2 small Tomatoes
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 1 carrot
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 2 eggs (Beaten)
- 1 bell pepper
- Green onion for garnishing
Direction:
In a pan add beef, water, ginger garlic paste and salt. Cover the lid and cook until the meat gets tender.
In a pan heat oil, add garlic, green chillies and onion. Sauté for 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes, salt black pepper and white pepper cook until tomatoes get tender.
Add carrot, cooked beef, say sauce, chilli sauce and cook for a minute.
Add beaten eggs mix it well.
Add bell pepper, mix well. Now cover the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Sprinkle green onions.
Serve with fried rice.
Beef Korma
Ingredients:
- 1kg beef
- ¾ cup oil
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp whole spice
- 1 cup yoghurt
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tbsp ginger to garnish
- 1 tbsp coriander to garnish
- 1 ½ cup fried onion
- ½ cup yoghurt
- 3 Green cardamom
- ½ cup of water
Directions:
In a blender add yoghurt, green cardamom, fried onion and water. Mix it well.
Now heat the oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste, sauté it, add whole spice and beef, mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes, add water, cover it with lid and let it cook until beef tenders 90%. (Add water if required).
Add yoghurt, salt, red chilli powder & coriander powder, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add onion paste mix it well, cook for 3-4 minutes.
Cover the lid with & cook for 5 minutes on medium-low flame.
Sprinkle ginger and coriander and serve with Naan.
Beef Keema Kebab
Ingredients:
- 700g minced beef
- ½ cup coriander
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tsp roasted cumin
- 1 tsp roasted whole coriander
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp papaya
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 3 tbsp chickpea powder
- 2-3 green chilli
Directions:
In a chopper add beef mince, salt, red chilli flakes, roasted cumin, roasted whole coriander, papaya, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric, oil and blend well.
Now in a bowl add blended mixture, onion, garlic/ginger paste, green chilli, roasted chickpea powder, coriander, mix well and refrigerate for an hour.
Apply oil or water on hands, take a hand full of mixture. Make thin and slightly bigger shaped kebab from the actual size you want. (Kebab will shrink).
Then in a frying pan add oil and fry Kebab until brown. (Use less oil to avoid shrinkage of Kebab).
