Minecraft 1.16 Nether update is out
Minecraft community has added new biomes, structures, blocks, animals, mobs, items and a brand-new type of armor
Since Minecraft was released, it has contained a gloom and dark realm called The Nether.
The Nether was first added to Minecraft in Alpha v1. 2.0 and ever since it has been in the game. The nether never played a very big role amongst the other parts of the game until now.
The only thing players needed from nether was blaze rods for making the ender eye and once they had gotten enough, there was no point going back in the nether. Minecraft has been giving out some incredible updates in the last few years including the aquatic, the villagers and pillagers update. But the nether might just be the biggest update that Minecraft has ever received.
Minecraft, being as real as possible, still had the magical essence in the game from almost the beginning. Nether being one of the biggest magical parts never really got any special notice. This nether update changes everything; Minecraft community has added new biomes,
structures, blocks, animals, mobs, items and a brand-new type of armor that is the best armor in the game; more than diamond armor.
Soul sand used to be among one of the few blocks in nether, which now turned into a new biome called the soul sand valley. The soul sand valley brings the player a new kind of light source and fire, soul fire. Another biome, which includes the netherrack and quartz, is nether
wastes. The basalt deltas are where one of the new blocks are added, Blackstones.
With Blackstones, players can make stairs and other types of blocks. The crimson and warped forest consists of nether trees that cannot grow in the overworld. The crimson forest consists of green fungi and endermans can spawn in the crimson forest.
Two new structures that are now in game are the Bastion Remnants and the Ruined Portals. The ruined portals are generated only in the overworld; these are broken nether portals, which can be fixed. There is a possibility of crying obsidian; a new block, to spawn with the ruined
portals and gold blocks can also be found with it. Bastion Remnants is a new nether structure which can be found in any biome expect the basalt delta.
The five new mobs, which are included in this update, are the Piglins, striders, hoglins, zoglins, and Piglin brute. Striders are passive mobs which can spawn anywhere on lava, they can walk on lava and they can be rode with a saddle and warped fungus on a stick. Piglins are passive mob but will attack players if they don't wear any gold armor and Piglins spawn in the crimson forests and rarely in the nether wastes.
Hoglins can spawn in the crimson forest and in a hoglins stable in Bastion Remnants and are hostile. Piglin brute are also a dangerous hostile mob, which only spawns in Bastion Remnants and will still attack player even if they are wearing gold. The zoglins are a very rare mob that is the zombie form of hoglins, which can happen when a hoglins stays too long in the overworld or the end. They are hostile towards every mob except Creepers, other Zoglins, the Ender Dragon, and the Wither.
There are many new blocks and items that are added, one of which being chains. Chains can be found in chests in the Bastion Remnants and can be crafted. A new kind of music disc; Pigstep; can be found only in the chests of Bastion Remnants and cannot be dropped by killing a crepper. Target block are a new redstone company for practicing target.
Blackstones, respawn anchor and ancient debris are some other newly added blocks. Respawn anchor is used to set your spawnpoint in the nether and the ancient debris is a very rare block which when melted can give a player the netherite ingot, from which the netherite armor and netherite tools can be crafted.
This armor can only be crafted if combined with diamond armor and tools. It has knockback resistance and has temporary fire protection which will cause a player slower lava death. It is arguably the best armor in the game.
