Woman gang-raped in Bagerhat, accused made video

A 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in Fakirhat Upazila of Bagerhat District on Saturday night.
The woman, who works in a NGO, filed a case with Fakirhat Model Police Station under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act on Sunday accusing four people, reports Prothom Alo.
The accused also made a video of the rape incident.

Police arrested one of the accused Mamun Sheikh, 30, in this connection on Sunday afternoon and recovered the video footage from his possession.
Confirming the incident, ANM Khairul Anam, officer-in-charge of Fakirhat Model Police Station, said "We are conducting a drive to detain the other accused in the case."
