Sarwar told him that he was going to his village home in Chandanaish from port city's Kazir Dewri area on Wednesday night. A miscreant grabbed him from behind when he was about to get board on a rented motorcycle. Later few more miscreants came there, dragged him into an ambulance and made him unconscious.
When he regained consciousness, he found himself tied in a dark room. Few masked men used to beat him daily in that room for past four days. The journalist sustained severe injuries on head and legs due to the torture.
He was given only bread and water to eat. Miscreants put cotton in his ears so that he could not hear the sound around him. However, Sarwar heard the sound of train sometimes from the room.
While torturing, the miscreants told Sarwar that as he was a journalist with almost no fame, his life had no security, why did he do such report and work as journalist.
Asking Sarwar to quit journalism, they also claimed that they would roam unpunished if they kill all journalists like Sarwar.
