Stocks witness mixed trend amid low turnover

Equity indices of the stock exchanges reported mixed performances amid low turnover in the first one-and-half-hour trading session on Sunday.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell 1.09 points or 0.02 percent to reach at 4,941 till 11:30am.
However, the benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose 4.40 points to 14,192 in the corresponding period.
Turnover, another major indicator on the DSE trading floor, dropped by 17 percent to Tk326.27 crore during the session.
Moreover, the Shariah-based DSES index lost 1.80 points to 1,118 and the blue-chip index DS30 fell 1.08 points to 1,724.
Out of the total 341 issues traded during the same time frame, 141 company's share prices advanced, 115 declined and 85 remain unchanged.
