Chattogram port police has recovered dead bodies of two newborn girls from canal in Chattogram.
The bodies of the two newborn were recovered from a canal in Nimtala area under Chattogram Port Police Station on Saturday.
Md Nuruzzaman, second officer of port police station said, "Locals became suspicious seeing a carton near Nimtala canal and informed us. We came and rescued the carton and found the bodies of 2 newborns in it."

"The matter of who left the bodies of the two children is being investigated," he added.
