Mamata Banerjee will have to take refuge in Bangladesh after West Bengal polls: UP minister
Uttar Pradesh Minister Anand Swaroop Shukla also accused Banerjee of acting at the behest of Bangladesh
Anand Swaroop Shukla, a BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh minister, has called Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal chief minister, an 'Islamic terrorist' on Sunday.
During his visit to the Indian village Ballia, he said that Banerjee will have to take refuge in Bangladesh after the eastern state assembly elections, reports India TV.
Later in April - May of this year, West Bengal is scheduled to go to polls.
Terming Banerjee an Islamic terrorist, Shukla said, "She has worked to break the temples and insult gods and goddesses in West Bengal."
"She is acting at the behest of Bangladesh," he added, according to Press Trust of India (PTI).
UP minister also accused Banerjee of not believing in Bharatiyata (Indianness).
Shukla claimed that Banerjee's party Trinamool Congress will suffer defeat in the upcoming assembly elections.
