Indices of the both stock exchanges witnessed an upward trend amid low turnover in the first one-and-half hour of trading session on Thursday.
DSEX, the benchmark index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose by 0.43% or 25.37 points to settle at 5,852 till 11:30 am today.
Turnover of the DSE fell by 1% to Tk469 crore during the session.

Moreover, DSE Shariah index DSES rose by 0.52% to 1,296 points and blue-chip index DS30 gain 0.63% to 2,221 points.
During this session, 154 companies share price rose, while 108 issues fell and 88 issues price remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained by 113 points to 17,100 till 11:30 am.
