Chattogram to be featured in BTV programme ‘Bangladesher Hridoy Hote’ Friday night

The next episode of entertainment-based magazine programme 'Bangladesher Hridoy Hote'will go on air on BTV on Friday night, featuring history and culture of the country's commercial hub Chattogram.
The episode will highlight the history, heritage, culture of the port city, said a press release.
Chattogram had been closely engaged in all rights movement, starting from the anti-British movement to the Liberation War of 1971.
It is indisputable that the city, to a large extent, had contributed in the economic, social and cultural prosperity of Bangladesh.
The beautiful port city is hugely rich in its own genre of songs that carry an eternal appeal. Shefali Ghosh and Shyam Sundar Baishnab are familiar as the king and queen of the regional music in Chattogram.
Besides, the city has been popular for a remarkable number of music maestros like Ramesh Sheel and bands like Souls, LRB, Renaissance and so on.
Chittagong is also familiar for beautiful Patenga Sea Beach, the country's only natural Rui fish breeding water body Halda, Mezban, Shutki (dried) fish, and Bela biscuits.
"Bangladesh er Hridoy hote" will truly represent all the flavours of the city. Popular singers of the city, including Robi Chowdhuri, Sandipan, Elma, Shimul, Ronty and Anika, will be performing in the program.
The programme will be broadcast at 10:20pm on the day, with Alif Chowdhury and Nahida Afroz Sumi as hosts.
