Arsenic risk awareness workshop held
The arsenic elimination project will be implemented in Dhaka, Manikganj, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Narsingdi and Munshiganj
An awareness workshop on the "Arsenic Risk Reduction Project" (ARP) was held to supply arsenic-free water in the six districts of Dhaka division at the Dhaka Deputy Commissioner's conference room on Sunday.
Dhaka Deputy Commissioner, Md Shahidul Islam, was the chief guest at the workshop.
The guests informed that to eliminate arsenic in water supply, the project will be implemented in six districts of Dhaka division, viz., Dhaka, Manikganj, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Narsingdi and Munshiganj.

Md Bashir Ahmed, executive engineer of Department of Public Health Engineering, Dhaka Division; Md Tariqul Islam, chairman of Project Implementing Agency "Eso Desh Gori"; Deputy assistant engineers of Dhaka's five upazilas were also in attendance, among others.
