Writ dismissed, 41st BCS exam on 19 March
At the same time, the court ordered to take the examination by following heath guidelines
The High Court has dismissed a writ petition which sought postponement of the 41st BCS preliminary examination scheduled to be held on 19 March.
At the same time, the court ordered to take the examination following health guidelines. So, the examination will be held on March 19.
A bench of Justice Md Khasruzzaman and Justice Md Mahmud Hassan Talukder passed the order on Tuesday afternoon, hearing the writ petition filed by a student named Raihan Sultan on behalf of the examinees.

Earlier in the morning, the court asked Deputy Attorney General Bipul Bagmar to inform the court about the Public Service Commission's (PSC) decision on postponing the examination.
He spoke to the concerned authorities at PSC and told the court that it is not possible to postpone the examination.
Lawyer Robiul Islam appeared in the court on behalf of the writ petitioner.
According to the writ, the coronavirus infection in the country is not completely over. Those sitting for the examination are not vaccinated.
A total of 4.75 lakh candidates have applied for the 41st BCS. There will be a gathering of about 8-10 lakh people including examinees and parents.
It is being feared that a large number of people might be infected from such a massive gathering.
In addition, if the residential halls of the universities are not reopened, a large number of candidates will face problems with accommodation. So the examination should be postponed.
On 13 January, the Public Service Commission (PSC) announced that the preliminary examination of 41st BCS will be held on 19 March.
