Employees of Sanofi Bangladesh postpone protest
Employees gave a 2-week ultimatum to press home their demand otherwise, they will again start protesting from November 21.
Employees of multinational pharmaceutical company Sanofi Bangladesh postponed the protest of "no pay for no work" today.
Genarel Secretary of Sanofi officers' association Sanjib Kumar Cokroborty said, "We have postponed our protest thinking about the reputation of Sanofi and patients of Bangladesh."
However, they gave a 2-week ultimatum to press their demand otherwise, they will resume the protest from November 21.

Sanofi authorities have assured that they will fulfill employees demand within the given time, Sanjib added.
On October 07, workers of Sanofi Bangladesh formed a human chain in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka and sent the company a 72-hour ultimatum, demanding a severance plan.
The biopharmaceutical giant on October 27 issued the warning after its employees gave a 72-hour ultimatum demanding compensation as the company is going to shut down its operation in Bangladesh.
On October 31, the employees threatened of going on a symbolic hunger strike if their demand is not met, said General Secretary of Sanofi Bangladesh Employees Welfare Committee Sanjib Chakrabarty.
