CU admissions test: 40 competing for each seat available
1,95,792 candidates have registered against 4,926 seats of four units and two sub-units of the admission test
At least 40 admission seekers will vie for each seat in the first year admission test for academic session 2020-21 of Chittagong University (CU).
1,95,792 candidates have registered against 4,926 seats of four units and two sub-units of the admission test, said Mohammad Khairul Islam, ICT cell director at the university.
Of them, 70,207 candidates will vie for 1,212 seats in unit A, 45,792 for 1,221 seats of unit B, 14,272 for 441 seats in unit C, and 57,089 candidates for 1,160 seats in unit D, according to the ICT cell of CU.
Another 3,415 candidates will vie for 215 seats in 'B-1' unit, while 5,018 candidates will compete for 30 seats in 'D-1' unit.
The admission test will start from 22 June and will continue till 1 July this year. Details of the tests are available on www.cu.ac.bd.
