Rozina Islam will get justice certainly: Law Minister
Earlier, journalist leaders including the president and general secretary of the National Press Club and Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters Forum met the law minister and talked to him about Rozina Islam.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq said Prothom Alo Senior Reporter Rozina Islam will get justice for sure.
"I will just say that in such an incident if there is any such suspicion that a distance is being created between the government and the journalists, the government will try to clear it," he told the reporters at his residence in the capital's Gulshan on Tuesday night.
"The bail hearing will be held on Thursday; the court will surely look into it and consider everything. I will also ask the prosecution to look into the case. I can say that she (Rozina Islam) will get justice," the minister added.
