Ocean Dance Festival 2019 ends in Cox’s Bazar
Bangladesh Chapter of World Dance Alliance–Asia Pacific (WDA-AP) organised the festival
The four-day long international dance programme Ocean Dance Festival 2019 came to an end on Monday in Cox's Bazar.
More than 200 artists, teachers, researchers and choreographers from 15 countries including Bangladesh participated in the festival which was held at two separate venues, Mermaid Eco-Resort and Cox Carnival.
Various kinds of programmes such as seminar, reading essays, workshops and live performances were held in the festival from morning to evening every day.

On the concluding day, the main performances in the evening session included "Toilet Pump" by Weimingpak (Hong Kong), "Mine" by Shammy Akter (Bangladesh), "See the Sound" by Sumedha Bhattacharyya (India), "Ultraviolate" by Shadhona and Nyeem Khan Dance Company (Bangladesh), "Democracy" by Eashin Arafat (Bangladesh), "Thresholds Crossed-Reconfiguration" by Megan Thompson (USA) and "I&Myself" by Anil Kumar Singh and Mofassal Alif (India and Bangladesh).
The festival was concluded with a dance drama titled "Badi Bandar Roopkotha" by Shrishty Cultural Centre from Bangladesh.
