FM pays visit to Bangladesh consulate general in New York
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen on Thursday visited the Bangladesh Consulate General, New York and observed the quality of various types of consular services.
Narayanganj-4 lawmaker Shamim Osman accompanied the foreign minister during his visit to the consulate general.
Upon arrival at the consulate, Dr Momen was greeted by all the officers and staff of the consulate, including Consul General Sadia Faizunnesa.
During the visit, Dr Momen provided guidance to the consulate officials and advised the officials to ensure quality services to the expatriate Bangladeshis as part of the current government's expatriate friendly diplomatic strategy.
At that time, the foreign minister spoke to the consular service seekers and expressed his satisfaction towards the service quality of the consulate.
The foreign minister is currently on a visit to New York to attend a meeting of the UN on Rohingya repatriation and other important issues.
