JSC, JDC examinees to get board certificates: Education Ministry
Although the candidates of this year's Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) will not have to sit for public exams, they will still receive board certificates.
Mohammad Abul Khair, public relations officer of the Education Ministry, confirmed the matter to The Business Standard today.
Earlier in the day, Education Minister Dipu Moni had announced that JSC and JDC examinations will not be held this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"There is no scope to hold JSC and JDC examinations this year. Schools will evaluate their eighth-graders at their respective institutions,"disclosed Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Tuesday.
JSC and JDC examinations were not held last year due to the worsening Covid situation.
Asked about the Primary Education Completion (PEC) examinations, she said fifth graders will also be evaluated by their own schools.
More than 20 lakh eighth-graders were expected to sit for the JSC and JDC examinations this year.
The government introduced JSC and JDC exams in 2010 and over 14 lakh class-eight students from schools and madrasas across the country participated in the first-ever JSC and JDC examinations.
